Stomach full of delicious barbeque chicken and more than a few family secret salads, she felt lethargy drawing her in under it's soft, tantalizing blanket.

And then one of the kids screamed.

Fairy Baths

The garden waited in predawn shadows, heavy with dew and hope. A child, barefoot and silent, tiptoed out into the grass and stopped next to a golden daffodil. Her father crouched nearby, leaning in to hear her words.
